The Experience

Our adventure begins in Lisbon. Whether we take a comfortable train ride or a private transfer, we head to Palmela for a day of total immersion in nature and local culture, delivered with our signature personal touch.

The Itinerary

• Palmela Castle: Our first stop is the imposing medieval castle. We’ll pause for coffee and your first gastronomic experience: the famous Azeitão Cheese or the sweet Torta de Azeitão. On clear days, the views are breathtaking, reaching the Tagus and Sado rivers, and the Arrábida and Sintra mountains.

• Barris Valley and Vineyards: We cycle through the idyllic Vale de Barris, crossing dirt paths through vineyards and pasture fields until we reach Vila Nogueira de Azeitão.

• Conquering Arrábida: We head toward the majestic mountains, where you can choose between two unforgettable routes:

  • The Mountain Route: Ride along high-altitude roads with dramatic views over the Atlantic.

  • The Coastal Route: Stay close to the azure blue sea, with an irresistible invitation for a swim.

• Flexible Lunch Options: To ensure the best experience, lunch is flexible and can be enjoyed in one of three iconic locations depending on the group's preference:

  • Portinho da Arrábida: A stunning meal right by the sea.

  • Setúbal: Famous for the freshest grilled fish, located a stone’s throw from the traditional fish market.

  • Azeitão: A cozy inland option surrounded by history and vineyards.

• The Return: We conclude the day in Setúbal and return to Lisbon, ending the experience in a relaxed and satisfied mood.

• Route Type: Circular (Starts and ends at the same location).

• Meeting Point: Lisboa Autêntica Shop (Largo da Severa 7A).

  • Note: Our area is pedestrian-only. If arriving by Uber or Taxi, set your destination to Praça Martim Moniz (a 2-minute walk from our shop).

Prices and Conditions

• 2-4 pax: 80€ per person

• 5-7 pax: 70€ per person

• 8-10 pax: 50€ per person

• 11+ pax: 45€ per person

Door-to-Door Private Transport (Optional):

• For an additional 20€ per person, Lisboa Autêntica provides a full private transfer service:

  1. Pick-up from your accommodation in Lisbon and transport to the starting point in Palmela.

  2. Pick-up in Setúbal at the end of the activity and return transfer back to your accommodation.

  • Note: Includes transport for both participants and bicycles. Subject to availability and confirmation.
