Itinerary Program

• Day 1: Heading to the Mountains

  • Departure from Lisbon (or meeting in Covilhã for those traveling by private car).

  • Accommodation: Memórias Charme Residences or similar.

• Day 2: The Route of the "Cântaros" and the Top of Portugal

  • Depart from Covilhã by e-bike towards Penhas da Saúde (1,500m).

  • Pass through Covão d’Ametade (picnic among birch trees) while contemplating the iconic Magro, Raso, and Gordo peaks.

  • Arrival at Torre (1,993m) and continue to Lagoa Comprida.

  • Stop at Sabugueiro to see the traditional granite houses and taste the famous Serra cheese.

  • Included Group Dinner: Savor regional specialties at a traditional restaurant.

• Day 3: Valleys, Beech Forests, and Waterfalls

  • Route from Sabugueiro to Penhas Douradas, admiring its historic mountain chalets.

  • Stop at Vale do Rossim (the highest river beach in Portugal).

  • Traverse the São Lourenço slope to admire the stunning Beech Forest (Faias).

  • Picnic at Poço do Inferno, a 10-meter waterfall in an enchanting setting.

  • Descent through the Glacial Valley to Manteigas and return to Covilhã.

• Day 4: Farewell and Return

  • Free morning for local shopping or a stroll through Covilhã.

  • Return trip to Lisbon.
