Lisbon w/ Fernando Pessoa

On this tour, discover the city of Lisbon through the life and words of Fernando Pessoa, and explore the places where the poet used to spend time and the ones mentioned in his works. 

Rediscover Pessoa through Lisbon, along the most important places in Pessoa’s life accompanied by the poet’s words the poet about the city; the houses where he lived, the bars where he met with artists and writers, the streets he took to meet with his lover Ofélia, and even the places where his heteronyms passed by (such as the Rua dos Douradores from his book “Livro do Desassossego”).

These places are literary testimonies and “accomplices” of the man whose work identified Lisbon as one of the capitals of poetry.

This particular tour will be guided by Fabrizio Boscaglia, who is a member of the Philosophy Centre of the University of Lisbon, where he researches Fernando Pessoa’s life, thoughts and work.
